We are busy consulting nations who were to take part in the 2008 RS:X Asian Championships and the 2008 RS:X Youth World Championships so that the events can be re-scheduled as quickly as possible.
I am sure that you can imagine the sheer frustration involved in this process when we know that the main international airport is now open in Bangkok and champagne conditions exist everyday on the water in Pattaya. Nevertheless, life throws us a curve ball from time to time and we have to deal with it.
In the meantime, Sail Melbourne starting on Dec 16th has opened a youth division for the RS:X Class boys/ girls. We know that the Hong Kong team and others from New Zealand have immediately switched their schedules to this event.
We would like to thank to Sail Melbourne for stepping in to provide some racing for our youth sailors.
In the meantime, please contact Rory Ramsden for further information (rory.ramsden@btopenworld.com)
