Founded in 2004, the Caviglia Bluewater Foundation seeks to serve, represent and educate individuals and families who have been touched by a life-altering, often devastating traumatic brain injury (TBI) on their way to recovery and rehabilitation, using sailing as a way to bring hope, social independence and fun back into their lives.
So the RS:X Class are proud to be able to do their bit by donating the 50% of the entry fees which would normally be collected from sanctioned continental championships to the the Caviglia Bluewater Foundation to assist them in their efforts to bring fun back into the lives of people with disabilities and their families.
The 2010 RS:X North American windsurfing Championships will take place in Miami from from Saturday, January 16 to Monday, January 18, 2010 in Miami, Florida.
Regsiter for the The Championship at theĀ 2010 Alex Caviglia Bluewater Classic (ACBC) website and remember that your entry fee includes includes three days of racing, (2) continental breakfasts,(2) lunches, &(2) dinners/social events. The ACBC is now in its fourth year andĀ is one of the top regattas in the USA bringing together windsurfers, keelboats and awesome dinghy racers from all over the country and around the globe!
