Liquid Sports and the Penghu Sailing Community invite all RS:X athletes to
come train in preparation for the 2011 ISAF World Sailing Championships
in Perth, Australia.
The Camp is set for the month of October when the first of the monsoon winds start making their way down from Mongolia. These conditions are somewhat similar to Weymouth and Portland Harbour in the UK but with a less shifty wind pattern - With such steady winds, Penghu is the perfect place to tune equipment, hone your body and windsurfing skills, and size up the competition
Come and stay for the whole month if you like or, if that is not convenient, come any time during the month of October. Just pick the days or weeks that you want to come and join us. Stay as long as you like...
The HKG windsurfing team have already arranged to send a container with their coach boat and equipment for their full team.
This is also the perfect opportunity for Youth athletes to get to grips with the venue of the 2012 Youth World Windsurfing Championships - scheduled for Oct 20 -27 2012.
