2009 RS:X European Championships: Shahar takes Gold

Shahar Zubari (ISR11) never looked threatened; Always looked in control; Never got flustered or excited; Admittedly the conditions were ideal for him 5 -12 knots all week.  He is almost unbeatable at this level and on this water. Gold at the 2009 RS:X European Championships  was almost a formality here in Tel Aviv. Or that's how it looked from the outside.

2009 RS:X European Championships: Marina is the Women's Champion

A sweet victory indeed for Marina Alabau (ESP5). European Champion in 2007 and 2008, she now adds the 2009 RS:X European Championship title to her impressive list of successes.  By finishing 2nd in the medal race, she has demonstrated that she is the dominant force in the women's RS:X fleet.
