RS:X Colored Sails Now On Sale

rsx_lipstickpinksailNeil Pryde Windsurfing is pleased to announce that the RS:X colored mono-film sails are now available on the open market making them class legal for use in R:X Olympic Windsurfing regattas worldwide.

Tests have shown that these colored sails are much more visible on the water than the old grey mono-film versions. This makes for a more attractive spectacle for the media and spectators not to mention television cameras. The RS:X class is working hard to make it easier for spectators to follow the racing whether they be on site at an RS:X Championships or ISAF Sailing World Cup Event or whether they be watching on computer screens.

The grey monofilm panel on the 9.5 sail has been changed to 'Gold' and on the 8.5 sail has been changed to 'Lipstick Pink'. It should be noted that nothing else has been changed in the construction of the sails so the difference is purely cosmetic.

When ordering, be sure to specify color code 3.

Please note that there is no limitation on the use of colored or grey mono - filmed sails as long as they comply with Class Rule C.9.1.d.
