2010 RS:X North American Championships - Men
Here's Solvig Sayre's take on the event:
"This is the third year I’ve competed in the Alex Caviglia Blue Water Classic. The combination of the Alex Caviglia foundation and Shake- A- Leg Miami have consistently opened their arms and invited the competitors into their family. This was the first year the RS:X North Americans were a part of the event. The event is large enough to attract Olympic athletes from all over the world and small enough to include you’re friend’s little sister. The racing is always great with familiar faces. Everyone is making improvements and the conditions are broad. This year the winds ranged from 4 to 22 knots and out of every direction. I raced in the RS:X women’s fleet and was able to race in the same fleet as the men. It was great being able to not only compare skills and technique with the women, but also the men. It is a great event and I’d recommend it to all abilities and ages."
