The 2009 RS:X New Zealand National Championships also doubled as a selection event for youth sailors (U19) wishing to qualify to represent their nation at the 2009 ISAF Youth World Championships (Buzios, Brazil, July 09-18).
Congratulations to Lucy Driver (Female) and Ben Mackay (Male) for winning the right to represent New Zealand.
Thanks also to Manly Sailing Club for providing quite possibly the best venue for sailing available and also to all those who worked to make the event a success both on the water and ashore (numerous), not forgetting the event sponsors.
