SAILING INSTRUCTIONS
1.1 The regatta will be governed by the rules as defined in The Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS).
1.2 No National Authority prescriptions will apply.
1.3 If there is a conflict between the Notice of Race and these Sailing Instructions the Sailing Instructions will take precedence.
1.4 For the Medal Race, the Sailing Instructions of Addendum Q take precedence over any conflicting instructions.
1.5 If there is a conflict between languages the English text will take precedence.
2 ADDITIONAL IDENTIFICATION
2.1 When sailing in Groups, Division (A) & (B), from the beginning of the Final Round or each day while racing in a Single Series the first, second and third boards in the series ranking at the beginning of the day, shall wear a yellow, blue or red Lycra vest respectively and display on both sides of their sail a self-adhesive disc of the same colour. A board shall not carry or wear such identification when he/she no longer occupies first, second or third place.
2.2 Lycra vests, supplied according to NoR 2.5, shall be worn outside other clothing while racing. Competitors shall not deliberately cut or tear them.
2.3 When sailing in Groups, each board in the Silver/Blue Group shall carry a Blue Ribbon, in Bronze/Red Group shall carry Red Ribbon, in Copper/Green Group shall carry Apple Green Ribbon attached to the retaining strap of the second batten down from the head of the sail.
2.4 The Local Organizing Authority (LOA) will supply the Lycra vests, stickers, ribbons and instructions for their use.
3 CAMERAS AND ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT
Boards may be required to carry cameras, sound equipment or positioning equipment as specified by the LOA. Those boards competing in the same race that are not issued with such equipment shall carry an equivalent weight in the same position issued by the LOA.
4 NOTICES TO COMPETITORS
Notices to competitors will be posted on the official Notice Board(s) located at the Race Office
5 CHANGES TO SAILING INSTRUCTIONS
Any change to the Sailing Instructions is subject to the approval of the Class Race Director and will be posted by 09.00 on the day it will take effect, except that any change to the schedule of races will be posted by 2000hrs on the day before it will take effect.
6 SIGNALS
6.1 SIGNALS MADE ASHORE
6.1.1 Signals made ashore will be displayed at the official Flagpole(s) located near the Race office. When a signal is displayed over Class/Division/Group flag it applies to that Class/Division/Group only.
6.1.2 When IC Flag AP (with two sound signals) is displayed, ‘1 minute' is replaced with ‘not less than 30 minutes'.
6.1.3 When IC Flag B (with two sound signals) is displayed boards are not allowed to go afloat. The warning signal will be made not less than 30 minutes after IC Flag B (with one sound signal) is lowered.
6.1.4 When IC Flag Y (with one sound signal) is displayed ashore, RRS 40.1 applies to competitors, coaches and support boat personnel who shall wear their buoyancy vest at all times while afloat. This changes RRS Part 4 preamble.
6.1.5 When IC Flag G (with one sound signal) is displayed ashore, the Safety System (see SCSIs # 21.2) is in force. This flag will be displayed not less than 60 minutes before the first starting time of the day.
6.2 SIGNALS MADE AFLOAT
6.2.1 When IC Flag Y is lowered,
a) Each competitor supported by a coach boat may place his/her buoyancy vest in his/her coach boat;
b) Coaches and support personnel may take off their buoyancy vests;
c) Boards without a coach boat may put their buoyancy vests in the Race Committee Signal Boat or Gear Boat, if one is provided. Buoyancy vests will only be accepted for storage if they are clearly marked with the board's sail number and shall be collected before returning ashore. No responsibility can be accepted for buoyancy vests not collected.
6.2.2 When a White Flag with the Red Cross emblem is displayed a Rescue Operation is in progress; coach and other support boats shall collaborate with the Race Committee in rescue tasks.
6.2.3 Youth Boys (Div E) and Youth Girls (Div F) or Under 17 Competitors shall wear their buoyancy vests at all times while afloat regardless Flag Y.

8.2 The scheduled time of the warning signal for the first race each day is 1200 hrs.
8.3 The warning signal for the last race of each day shall not be made within 2 hour of the official sunset time.
8.4 Sixteen races including Medal Races are scheduled. Of the 16 races,15 are scheduled as Single or Opening Races and one as a Medal Race. For boards not assigned to compete in the Medal Race the Single or Opening Series is scheduled to include the 16th race.
For U17 Divisions (E&F) only 12 races are scheduled.
8.5 The maximum number of races per day;
(a) In planing conditions, will be 4,
(b) In displacement or marginal planing conditions, will be 2
(c) A third/fourth race may be sailed only if:
- the first two races were sailed in planing conditions, or
- the last one of the first two races was sailed in planing conditions and planing conditions exist for the 10 minutes prior to the starting signal of the third race

9.3 A minimum of 5 eligible entries is required to form a division. If less than 5 eligible entries have been received for a division, then those entries may sail in another division as defined by the Race Committee.
10 RACING AREAS
10.1 There will only be one racing area. (See Appendix 2)
10.2 The racing area is defined as an area extending 75 m beyond the course including the starting line, the finishing line and their extensions, in which a board would normally sail while racing.
11 THE COURSES
11.1 Appendix 3 shows the courses, including the course signals, approximate angles between legs, the order in which marks are to be passed, and the side on which each mark is to be left.
11.2 Selection of course types:
a) When there are 3 or more fleets racing a Single or Opening Series, a trapezoidal course will be set
b) For each course, a ‘Slalom End' with 3 marks will be set.
c) The Medal Race will be sailed on a windward/leeward course.
12 MARKS
12.1 Marks 1, 2, 3 and 4 will be round white inflatable buoys at least 1800 mm diameter. No nets shall be used.
12.2 The starting marks will be Race Committee Signal Boat and Pin End Boat.
12.3 The finishing marks will be a Race Committee boat at the port end and a buoy (at least 600 mm in diameter) with a blue flag at the starboard end.
12.4 Slalom marks will be Orange cylindrical inflatable buoys at least 600 mm in diameter.
13 AREAS THAT ARE OBSTRUCTIONS
None
14 THE START
14.1 Races will be started by using RRS 26.
14.2 The starting line will be between staffs displaying orange flags on the Race Committee Signal boat at the starboard end and the Committee boat at the port end.
14.3 Boards whose warning signal has not been made shall avoid the starting area.
14.4 A board starting later than 4 minutes after her starting signal will be scored Did Not Start. This changes RRS A4 and A5.
14.5 When conditions are unfavourable, the starting line Race Committee Signal Boat may hold its position by using engine. This is not grounds for redress. This changes RRS 62.1(a).
14.6 If a board fails to start or breaks rule 30.3, the Race Committee will display her sail number on a white board on the back of the Race Committee Signal Boat before the first board has finished that race. Failure to display the sail number(s) will not be grounds for redress. This changes RRS 62.1(a) and A5.
15. SHORTENING A COURSE
During the races, the Race Committee may shorten the course according to RRS 32. The two exceptions are shown below.
15.1 SHORTENING A WINDWARD/LEEWARD COURSE
15.1.1 If a shortened course is signaled at the downwind gate, boards shall sail through the gate and then through the ‘slalom-end' before finishing at the finishing line set according to the diagram shown in Appendix 3 (This changes RRS 32)
15.2 SHORTENING A TRAPEZOIDAL COURSE
15.2.1 If a shortened course is signaled at mark 3, boards shall sail round that mark in the normal way before sailing through the ‘slalom-end' and finishing at the finishing line set according to the diagram shown in Appendix 3 (This changes RRS 32)
16 THE FINISH
16.1 The finishing line will be between the staffs displaying blue flags on the finishing marks.
16.2 When conditions are unfavourable, the finishing line Race Committee boat(s) may hold position by using their engines. This is not grounds for redress. This changes RRS 62.1(a).
17 PENALTY SYSTEM
17.1 Breaches of SCSIs 2, 3, 14.3, 21, 24, 26, 27 and Class Rule C9.2 will not be grounds for a protest by a board. This changes RRS 60.1(a).
a) Penalties for these breaches (except SCSIs 21.2) will be 3 points penalty for each infringement which shall be added to her score in the race in which she is due to sail if she has not yet started or if she is currently racing in that race. In the case of the last race in the series, the penalty will apply to the penultimate race. The scores of other boards shall not be changed; therefore two boards may receive the same score. Each penalty shall be implemented by the Race Committee without a hearing.
b) For breach of SCSIs 21.2; Failure to Sign-Out will result in 5 points penalty for the first race sailed. Failure to Sign-In will result in 5 points penalty for the last race sailed. If only one race is sailed, failure to comply with this SCSIs (failure to Sign-Out and Sign-In together) will incur only a 5 point penalty.
c) However, a board shall not be scored worse than a disqualified board. This changes RRS 63.1. Infringements, if any, will be posted on the official Notice Board within the protest time.
17.2 The board's penalty score under SCSIs 21.2(b) and (c) shall be reduced to a 2-point penalty if:
a) a board who has not signed out reports to the Race Committee Signal Boat before the warning signal of the first start of the period for her Class/Division/Group, or
b) if a board who has not signed in according to SCSIs 21.2(c) reports to the Race Office before the end of protest time for her Class/Division/Group.
17.3 Infringements of SCSIs 26 will be subject to action by the Race Committee which may result in preventing a support boat from going afloat.
18 TIME LIMITS, TARGET TIMES, CONDITIONS AND REST PERIODS
18.1 Times

18.1.3 Where there is more than one Division racing in a Single Fleet, each Division shall have its own Time Limit in that race and boards shall be finished accordingly.
18.1.4 Boards failing to finish within 15 minutes (10 minutes in Medal Race) after the first board of that Class/Division/Group sails the course and finishes will be scored Did Not Finish. This changes RRS 35, A4 and A5.
18.2 A race shall be abandoned if the above time limits are exceeded.
18.3 If pumping becomes the main method of propulsion, the race shall be abandoned. Actions or non actions by the Race Committee shall not be grounds for redress. This changes RRS 62.1(a).
18.4 Rest periods:
18.4.1 When a race was held in non-planing or marginal planing conditions, the warning signal for succeeding race for that Class/Division/Group shall be displayed not less than 20 minutes after the last board finished in the time limit.
18.4.2 When a race was held in planing conditions, the warning signal for succeeding race for that Class/Division/Group shall be displayed not less than 15 minutes after the last board finished in the time limit.
18.4.3 When two races have been sailed back to back there shall be a rest period ashore, except in cold weather or if the racing area is a long way from the shore. The warning signal for a succeeding race for that Class/Division/Group shall be displayed not less than 45 minutes after the last board finished in the time limit.
19 PROTESTS AND REQUESTS FOR REDRESS
19.1 Protest forms are available at the Race Office, located at "INSERT PLACE". Protests and requests for redress or reopening shall be delivered there within the Protest Time Limit.
19.2 For each Class/Division/Group, the protest time limit is 60 minutes after the last board has finished the last race of the day for that Class/Division/Group.
19.3 Notices will be posted within 30 minutes of the Protest Time Limit to inform competitors of hearings in which they are parties or named as witnesses. Hearings will be held in the protest room, located at "INSERT PLACE".
19.4 Notices of protests by the Race Committee or Jury will be posted to inform boards under RRS 61.1(b) within the Protest Time Limit.
19.5 On the last scheduled day of the Qualifying Series and the Final Series or Single series, a request for reopening a hearing shall be delivered:
(a) within the Protest Time Limit if the requesting party was informed of the decision on the previous day;
(b) no later than 15 minutes after the requesting party was informed of the decision on that day.
This changes RRS 66.
19.6 On the last scheduled day of the Qualifying Series and the Final Series or Single Series, a request for redress from a Jury decision shall be delivered no later than 15 minutes after the decision was posted. This changes RRS 62.2.
19.7 (spare)
19.8 Decisions of the jury will be final as provided in RRS 70.4.
19.9 Boards taking a penalty under RRS B2.1(c) shall complete the Alternative Penalty Form at the Race Office as soon as they come ashore or anyway within the protest time of their Class/Division/Group on that day.
19.10 Boards wishing to retire from a race shall complete a Retirement Declaration Form at the Race Office as soon as they come ashore or anyway within the protest time of their Class/Division/Group on that day.
19.11 Arbitration System: (Only for RS:X Youth World Championships)
(a) As an alternative to a full protest hearing in front of the Jury, boards may be given a choice of using an Arbitration System but only if, before the hearing, both the protestor and the protestee, agree to accept the decision of the arbitration judge.
(b) The arbitration will be heard by two members (the Arbitration Judges) of the Jury. They will listen to the evidence of the protestor and protestee only and will announce their decision as to which board (if any) infringed a rule. This changes RRS 63.6.
(c) The decision is binding on all parties to the protest but the hearing may be reopened under RRS 66 in which case the Arbitration Judges will not be party to the re-opened hearing.
(d) If the Arbitration Judges penalizes a board, the penalty will be a points penalty equal to 30% (rounded up to the next whole number) of the number of entrants in the Class/Division/Group except that she shall not be scored worse than DSQ. The scores of the other boards shall not be affected, therefore two boards may receive the same score. The scoring abbreviation for a penalty imposed under these SCSIs will be ARB.
(e) If at the time of offering the Arbitration System to the parties, either of the parties refuse to accept the system, the protest will be heard by the full Jury and the penalty, if any, becomes disqualification.
20. SCORING
20.1 The scoring will be Low Points Scoring System in accordance with RRS A4.
20.1.1 Each event shall be scored separately.
20.1.2 A board's series score will be the total of her race scores excluding her worst score(s) according to RRS B8.2. When racing in "Groups", these discarded race results from the "Qualifying Series" may be substituted with a worse race result from the "Final Series"
20.2 For the Medal Race;
20.2.1 The Medal Race score shall not be excluded.
20.2.2 Competitors will carry their series score (i.e. total of race scores after discard) through to the Medal Race.
20.2.3 For the Medal Race, the points are doubled, and the scores are based on the number of boards assigned to compete in that race.
20.2.4 Any series tie after the Medal Race will be broken in favour of the board finishing higher in the Medal Race.
20.2.5 If the Medal Race is not completed, medals will be awarded based on the series score.
20.2.6 Assigned boards shall make a genuine effort to start, sail the course and finish. A breach
of this rule will not be grounds for a protest by a board. This changes RRS 60.1(a).
The penalty of this breach will be ranking a board tenth in the regatta. If there are
two such boards, they will be ranked ninth and tenth, in order of their Opening
Series ranks, etc.
20.3 Unless penalized under RRS 5 or RRS 69.1(b)(2), boards assigned to compete in the Gold Group will be ranked higher in the regatta than the boards assigned to the Silver Group who shall be ranked higher in the regatta than the boards assigned to the Bronze Group who shall be ranked higher in the regatta than the boards assigned to the Copper Group
20.4 Unless penalized under RRS 5 or RRS 69.1(b)(2), boards assigned to compete in the Medal Race will be ranked higher in the regatta than the boards assigned to the Gold, Silver, Bronze and Copper Groups.
20.5 To request correction of an alleged error in posted race or series results, a board may complete a Scoring Enquiry Form available at the Race Office.
20.6 The scoring abbreviation for a discretionary penalty imposed under SCSIs#17 will be DPI.
21 SAFETY REGULATIONS
21.1 A board that retires from a race shall notify the Race Committee as soon as possible. Boards not leaving the venue for any of the racing days shall inform the Race Office.
21.2 When the Safety System is in force (see SCSIs # 6.1.5);
(a) Boards shall carry a 5-meter long towing line. A safety line or device should secure the rig to the hull to prevent being separated from the hull.
(b) When going out to race each board intending to race shall personally sign out against her name/sail number.
(c) On returning ashore each board shall personally sign in to confirm that she has returned to shore, either within 30 minutes of the end of the time limit of that race, or, in the case of back to back races, of the last race of that Class/Division/Group for the day or, within 30 minutes after being instructed to go ashore by the Race Committee.
(d) Sign-Out and Sign-In Lists will be provided by the Race Committee in front of "INSERT PLACE".
22 REPLACEMENT OF EQUIPMENT
22.1 Replacement of damaged or lost equipment will not be allowed unless approved by the Championship Chief Measurer.
22.2 Replacement ashore. Requests for substitution of damaged or lost equipment shall be made to the Race Office in writting for consideration. Permission will be given only when the Championship Chief Measurer is satisfied that the item of equipment is severely damaged, not deliberately mistreated, and cannot be repaired satisfactorily. A request shall be made at the first reasonable opportunity on a form available at the Race Office.
22.3 Replacement afloat. When an item of equipment is damaged or lost shortly before a race and is replaced, the board shall notify the Race Committee before the warning signal. As soon as practicable after coming ashore, the board shall comply with SCSIs # 22.2 and the replaced item shall be presented to the Championship Chief Measurer. If the Championship Chief Measurer decides that the item could have been used in the race or had been purposely damaged by anyone associated with the board, he may request action under RRS 69.1(a). This changes RRS 78.3 and 64.3.
23 EQUIPMENT AND MEASUREMENT CHECKS
23.1 The Championship Chief Measurer shall stamp all equipment to be used during the Championships before the start of the first race.
23.2 After equipment has passed measurement and been marked accordingly, it shall not be removed from the venue, including the racing area and the waters leading to them, without prior written permission of the Championship Chief Measurer.
23.3 A board or equipment may be inspected at any time for compliance with the Class Rules and the Sailing Instructions. On the water, a board can be instructed by a Race Committee member or Championship Chief Measurer to proceed immediately to a designated area for inspection. Boards shall follow the instructions of the measurer and proceed directly to the designated equipment inspection area. Until permission is given by the Championship Chief Measurer, a selected board shall have no contact with any support personnel, no person shall join or leave the board and no equipment or other item shall be taken on or off that board. A board shall not leave the inspection area without the permission of the Championship Chief Measurer. The Championship Chief Measurer may protest a board for an alleged breach of this SCSIs. This changes RRS 60 and 78.3.
24 ADVERTISING
24.1 Advertising will be Category "C" in accordance with ISAF Regulation 20.
24.2 Boards are required to carry event advertising, including the competitor's national flag, in compliance with ISAF Regulation 20.3(d).
a) Each board shall place the stickers issued by the organizing authority, back to back on the sail immediately below the sail number and as close to the leach as possible, with the event sponsor(s) below the National flag.
b) Competitors shall not cut or adapt the stickers in any way."
24.3 The only event advertising stickers and/or Lycra vests that may appear on the sail and/or may be worn are those issued by the Local Organizer of the Regatta in which the board is currently entered. Any other event advertising must receive prior approval from the Championship Chief Measurer.
25 OFFICIAL BOATS

25.2 Actions by the official boats shall not be grounds for redress by a board. This changes RRS 62.1(a).
26 SUPPORT BOATS
26.1 Team leaders, coaches and other support personnel shall stay outside areas where boats are racing from the time of the preparatory signal for the first start until all boats have finished or the Race Committee signals a postponement, general recall or abandonment, unless instructed otherwise by the Race Committee.
26.2 Support boats shall clearly display their national 3 letter country code in black on a white background either on a flag of a minimum of 50cm x 40cm in size or on the cover of their outboard engine.
27 TRASH DISPOSAL
Boards shall not put trash in the water. Trash may be placed aboard support and Race Committee boats.
28 RADIO COMMUNICATION
While on the water, a board shall not carry equipment capable of making radio transmissions or receiving radio communications, except for equipment provided by the LOA.
29 PRIZES
Prizes will be awarded accordingly to the Notice of Race
30 DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY
Competitors participate in the regatta entirely at their own risk. See RRS 4, Decision to Race. The LOA will not accept any liability for material damage or personal injury or death sustained in conjunction with or prior to, during, or after the regatta.
31 INSURANCE
31.1 Each participating board shall be insured with valid third-party liability insurance with a minimum cover of EUR 1.000.000 per event or the equivalent.
31.2 Coach and support boat drivers shall also have valid third-party liability insurance with a minimum cover of EUR 5.000.000 per event or the equivalent.

Appendix 1 - FORMAT
7.1 GENERAL
7.1.1 A competitor can only register for one Division. Youth Women/U21 Women shall race together. U21 Men shall sail separately
7.1.2 A Regatta shall consist of a maximum 16 race series over 6 days.
7.1.3 A minimum of 3 races is required for a valid Championship.
7.1.4 The regatta will consist of a Single Series and a Medal Race and/or an Opening Series and a Medal Race. The Opening Series will consist of a Qualifying Series (First Round) and a Final Series (Final Round)
7.1.5 There will be one Medal Race for each Under 19 Division (A) & (B) provided that those divisions have a minimum of 20 entries. Each one will consist of the top 10 sailors from the current standing. There will be no Medal Races for Under 21 and Under 17 Divisions.
7.1.6 Where there are 30 or fewer boards entered in a Division, they shall race in a Single Series.
7.1.7 Where there are between 31 and 40 boards entered in a Division, they shall race either in a Single Series or in two groups in an Opening Series as decided by the RS:X Class Race Director.
7.1.8
a) Where there are between 41 and 70 boards entered in a Division, they shall race in two Groups; Where there are between 71 and 90 boards entered in a Division, they shall race in three Groups; Where there are between 91 and 120 boards entered in a Division, they shall race in four Groups. Groups shall be of equal size and as close to equal ability as possible.
b) If there are an odd number of entries, the Gold/Yellow group shall be the largest.
7.1.9 They shall be divided based on their final standing; first, in the last Youth World Championship; second, on their final standing in the ‘Open Event' at the last Youth European Championship; and thirdly, on their final standing at their ‘home' Youth Continental Championship and finally their national standing.
7.2 FIRST ROUND
7.2.1 A maximum of 8 races and a minimum of 4 shall make up the First Round.
7.2.2 A Seeding List will be established. The Youth World Champion, if still eligible, shall be in first position on that Seeding List.
- If two groups are to be established
- If three groups are to be established
- If four groups are to be established
7.2.3 Group assignments will be posted at least two hours before the first scheduled warning signal of the first racing day.
7.2.4 Decision in regards SCSIs, Appendix 1 Format # 7.2.2 will be taken by the Class Race Director. These decisions will be final and not ground for redress. This changes RRS 62.1(a).
7.2.5 The Groups may be intermixed at any time or after each day of racing, as soon each Group has completed the same number of races.
(a) If each Group has not completed the same number of races, the reassignment of boards for the next days racing will be based on the Group standings including those races, numbered in order of completion, completed by each Group.
(b) Reassignments will be made in the way as the initial assignments except that the current overall standing shall be used in place of the initial Seeding List.
(c) Reassignments will be based on the scores available at 2100 that day regardless of protests or requests for redress not yet decided. They will be posted at least two hours before the first scheduled warning signal of the racing day they apply.
(d) If Groups have not completed the same number of races by the end of a day, the Group with fewer races will continue racing the following day until both Groups have completed the same number of races. All boards will thereafter race in the new Groups.
7.2.6
(a) The First Round will end normally at the end of the third day, provided that four
races have been completed by each Group.
(b) If fewer than four races have been completed by one or more Groups at the end of third day, the first round will be extended for those Group(s) on the fourth day in order that they complete four races.
(c) If fewer than four races have been completed by one or more Groups at the end of the fourth day, the first round will be extended for those Group(s) as long as necessary in order to complete at least four races per Group.
7.2.7 For the First Round, RRS A4.2 is changed so that the scores are based on the number of boards assigned to the largest Group which shall, in the case of an odd number of entries, be the Gold/Yellow Group.
7.2.8 OVERALL STANDING
At the end of the First Round, an overall standing will be established. If racing in the Final Round is not possible, this shall count as the official result.
7.3 FINAL ROUND
7.3.1 Racing in the Final Round will take place in the same number of Groups as in the first round with the same numbers in each Group except that in case of ties at the break point those boards so tied shall sail in the higher Group.
Assignments shall be made based on the Overall Standings (SCSIs, Appendix 1 Format # 7.2.8 The Group lists shall be posted at least 2 hours before the first scheduled warning signal of the first race of the Final Round.
7.3.2 Any recalculation of First Round overall standing after boards have been assigned to Final Round Groups will not affect the assignments except that a redress decision may promote a board to a higher Group.
7.3.3 OVERALL STANDING AT THE END OF THE FINAL ROUND
At the end of the Final Round an overall standing consisting of First Round and Final Round scores will be established. Silver Group boards will be ranked in the Fleet Standing after those in the Gold Group. Bronze Group boards will be ranked in the Fleet Standing after those in the Silver Group. Copper Group boards will be ranked in the Fleet Standing after those in the Bronze Group. If the Medal Race is not run, this shall count as the official result.
7.4 MEDAL RACE
7.4.1 On the last day, if twenty or more boards are registered in a Class/Division, and if the Gold Group has completed at least two races in the Final Round by the end of the penultimate day (the day before the last), or if the regatta is being raced as a Single Series the Class/Division has completed at least six races by that day, the top ten boards of the current overall standing, taking into account hearings and decisions about protests and requests for redress, will sail in the Medal Race.
7.4.2 Assignments to the Medal Race will be based on ranking available on 0800 on the day of the Medal Race. The jury may extend the time limit.
7.4.3 SCSIs # 20 will apply separately to each final Class/Division/Group and to each part of the Gold Group when the Medal Race and the last race have been completed. Different final groups need not to have completed the same number of final races.
7.4.4 Boards not assigned to the Medal Race shall compete in one race in the Class/Division/ Group in which they are currently assigned. This race result shall count to the overall standing.
