And no mistakes for Laura Linares (ITA 11), she posted 2 second places. However, she is going to have her work cut out to beat Victoria Chan (HKG 5) who is Miss Consistency herself scoring two bullets today and building a nine point cushion over second overall Maja Dziarnowska (POL 7)
Sonia Lo (HKG 8), now 4th overall, was disappointed when, in race 3, she was well into the last downwind slalom section of the course and the stitching at the luff end of batten #7 on her version 1 8.5 sail (built in 2005) finally exploded! She lost 4 places in the short distance to the finish, posting a 6th.
This bad luck puts her on equal points with Laura.
The battle for podium places will probably be in these four.
