The big news this week is that the Asian Sailing
Federation [ASAF] held an extra-ordinary general
meeting in Singapore to discuss various matters
including the decision by ISAF to eject windsurfing
from the 2016 Olympic Sailing Programme.
The meeting was attended by 17 countries and 34 delegates who decided unanimously to support the reinstatement of the RS:X for Rio 2016.

Other news is that US Windsurfing has put together a website to inform US Sailing in advance of a teleconference call during which they will put the case for windsurfing and highlight the factual inaccuracies in that the technical report to ISA prepared by the IKA.
